#100DaysofMakeup: Day 20 + 21

 

Happy Monday! I actually planned on posting the above make up as part of a Valentine's 

Make Up inspiration/ideas post but I unfortunately didn't have time.

So it's Day 20 instead.

Day 21 is actually my Valentines Day Make Up. I went with a colour combo I've been

using a lot recently - Kitten Parade + Hotsy Totsy by Sugarpill.

I kind of forgot to plan my Valentines Make Up, so I just went with what seemed a good 

idea at the time, which is still good.

No plans are sometimes the best plans.

I hope you like dusky pinks and everyday make up shades. Because that's pretty much what I've been wearing for the past couple of days, haha.

The good news is, once V-day is over and done with I'll be less busy and I'll be able to 

post more interesting make up looks (including tutorials).

#100DaysofMakeup: Day 16 + 17

Happy Thursday!

Because I didn't post yesterday there's 2 days in one today. Also I meant to post a 'things I 

love thursday' today but I've been too busy to sort it all out, so I'll possibly be posting a 

Friday Favourites tomorrow to make up for it.

On the plus side I have my entire Valentines Day outfit sorted!

Now I just need to sort my make up out... look out for a V-Day make up post tomorrow/Saturday

I tried out my new  'Electric Dreams' baked eyeshadows from Makeup Revolution
yesterday and wore two shades again today. So pretty!
This is the middle colour of the palette as far as I can remember.

Happy Friday! Remember at the start when I said they'll probably be a lot of
cat eyes etc. during 100 days of make up? Yeah, that's happening.
I'm doing a lot of neutrals at the minute, mainly due to laziness/not enough time.
It unfortunately takes me a ridiculous amount of time to do good make up and if
it's 8am and I have to be out the door in 5 minutes then elaborate make up is definitely
not happening.
So I hope you like cat eyes...

Frostine + Double Denim // #100DaysofMakeup

(Almost) double denim today. Because for some reason I decided to dress like it
wasn't gale force winds outside. This is actually one of my favourite tops, but like
many of my clothes it's not winter friendly... which is why I'm wearing a chunky
cardigan over it.

Because of the no-make-up-wipes situation I didn't take a photo of day #9's make up
because it was pretty much exactly the same as the day before.
But, today's make up makes up for that!
I got my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Lipsticks in the post yesterday....

And I wore 'Phone Call' today which is amazing!

now ran out of face wipes/any kind of make up remover, but I've successfully remembered

OOTD // Polka Dots + Epic Sale Top

The struggle is real. I want to wear Spring clothes in winter but I don't want to be cold.
I don't really do winter clothes as such... I love sweaters like you wouldn't believe but that's pretty much the extent of my winter wardrobe. Sweaters. Just sweaters.
As much as I like to convince myself that knit tights can keep my legs warm, they really
don't. So I'm resorting to jeans.
It's not that I'm not a fan of jeans (I very much am), it's that they never fit me.
Find some that fit my waist and you're doing good, find some that fit my short-as-hell
legs and you've pretty much hit the jackpot!
When I do find jeans that fit me they're usually not really in my budget - and jeans
aren't really something I wanna break the bank on.
But recently I picked up some new jeans from primark, which I think were about £7 or £8,
and they fit me pretty well.
I'm liking dark blue denim quite a lot at the minute...

But let's not forget to mention that this pretty white scalloped top cost me £1 in the sale at primark (!!) I'm guessing because they're quite summery/not winter friendly they're trying to sell them quickly.
But I'm definitely down for buying tops for £1 no matter what season they suit!
