♥ Valentines Day // OOTD ♥

I hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day/Weekend!

This Valentines Day OOTD comes to you from my bathroom because we 

forgot to take photos before we went out (and my lighting sucks at night so it's literally 

impossible to do it anywhere else other than the bathroom).

Either way, in the run up to valentines day I bought two midi skirts from boohoo 

(hello short girl problems, when midi skirts are basically maxi skirts on you) and I was 

actually planning on wearing the other one (just plain white) but ended up wearing this one 

instead... because I ended up planning an entire different outfit in my head.

I tend to stay away from any other skirts apart from mini's because, as I said, 

I'm pretty damn short and they just don't look good on me, but I love this one!

I definitely wasn't planning on buying shoes (...for once) but I got these for £15 which is 

amazing. They're so cute! And comfy! Which is an amazing plus.

I also picked up this cute heart necklace from New Look :) kinda perfect for V-day.

I didn't take a photo of my present because I wasn't online much,

but I got a big heart shaped box full of Sanctuary Spa things for Valentines Day!

(which equals 100% happiness, I'm pretty sure)

It has the White Lily & Damask Rose body wash in! Which is my favourite smell

since I got it at christmas.

OOTD // Polka Dots + Epic Sale Top

The struggle is real. I want to wear Spring clothes in winter but I don't want to be cold.
I don't really do winter clothes as such... I love sweaters like you wouldn't believe but that's pretty much the extent of my winter wardrobe. Sweaters. Just sweaters.
As much as I like to convince myself that knit tights can keep my legs warm, they really
don't. So I'm resorting to jeans.
It's not that I'm not a fan of jeans (I very much am), it's that they never fit me.
Find some that fit my waist and you're doing good, find some that fit my short-as-hell
legs and you've pretty much hit the jackpot!
When I do find jeans that fit me they're usually not really in my budget - and jeans
aren't really something I wanna break the bank on.
But recently I picked up some new jeans from primark, which I think were about £7 or £8,
and they fit me pretty well.
I'm liking dark blue denim quite a lot at the minute...

But let's not forget to mention that this pretty white scalloped top cost me £1 in the sale at primark (!!) I'm guessing because they're quite summery/not winter friendly they're trying to sell them quickly.
But I'm definitely down for buying tops for £1 no matter what season they suit!

OOTD // Jan 26th

Despite being a big fan of outfit posts of other people, I rarely do them myself.
I do little detail/selfie-style instagrams of my outfits rather than full length, proper
outfit photos (you'll know this if you follow me on instagram)
If I had a good location and didn't feel like I looked super awkward in outfit photos, I
would totally post more, haha.

I planned on taking outfit photos yesterday while we were out, but this is england
and you can't win against mother nature.
So I'm afraid I'm having to post outfit photos taken inside my flat, but I hope
the outfit itself makes up for that!

I celebrated 2 years with my boyfriend by wearing one of my favourite dresses, that I
bought just after Christmas, and heading to Norwich to do some shopping!

 

I recently bought this scarf from Accessorize during their sale. It's usually £19 but I got it for £9.50 (!!) It's so big and chunky and it keeps me super warm! Which is good because, despite loving this coat, it only has one button and isn't the most winter/British weather friendly coat.
